Bob Milne Piano Concert, Monday, November 21, 2011

The Foundation is again bringing the amazing pianist Bob Milne back for another concert! Co-sponsored by PlacerArts, this is the 5th year we have held the concert. Every year has been a sellout. Tickets are limited, so get yours early.

When: Monday, November 21st at 6:30pm

Family BBQ Dinner, Raffle and Silent Auction, October 6th, 2011. Eat In or Take Out!

Time for the Foundation's annual fall dinner fundraiser on Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at EV Cain school. World famous (well, at least community famous) BBQ'ers from Auburn Rotary will be doing the cooking. Tri-tip, chicken, corn, drink and dessert!

$12 per adult. $7 per child. Take out available. Dinner served from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Introduction to the Foundation:

The Auburn Education Foundation (AEF) is a community-based non-profit organization established in 1985 that raises funds from our supporters and fundraisers to benefit the students of the Auburn Union Elementary School District in Auburn, California. Funds are provided directly to the classroom via grants. Most grants are for curriculum and enrichment materials and supplies that the district would not otherwise fund. The grant application and reporting process ensures that only qualified projects that are carefully reviewed and monitored are funded.  During the 2008/20098 school year, the Foundation donated over $50,000 to the district.

AEF is an all volunteer organization with no paid staff. The organization is led by a board consisting of school staff and parent representatives from each of the schools, a representative from the district and members of the community. Many of board members are experienced former administrators and teachers that understand the importance and impact of the many grants provided by AEF over the years to the students of the district.
